Snodland Casualties in World War I

Members of Snodland Historical Society have begun researching the impact of World War I on the village, and especially the men named on the War Memorial. We would be grateful for any supplementary information on the following. Names in normal type appear on the War Memorial in Snodland Cemetery, or on the one in Christ Church, Lower Birling (now part of Snodland). Names in italic are known to have had Snodland connections (i.e. were born here), but are presumed to be commemorated on other War Memorials. Information will be welcomed by Tony Grant at tony@freelands.fsnet.co.uk, or Andrew Ashbee at aa0060962@blueyonder.co.uk .
